Meet Macon Bacon pitcher Jagger Iovinelli. Jagger is a 2024 Coastal Plain League All-Star, who joins the Bacon from Wheeling University. This lefty stud is not just one of the best performers in the CPL; he is considered by some to be the heart and soul of the team.

Meet Macon Bacon shortstop Sherman Johnson. Sherm is one of the top middle infielders in the Coastal Plain League. Sherman joins the Bacon from Dallas Baptist University, where he familiarized himself with former Macon Bacon coach Easton Waterman. Sherman is a big fan favorite and it is easy to see why: he prioritizes his connection to our great fans.

Meet Macon Bacon catcher Mike Morrison. Mike played the entire 2024 season with the Bacon, and was amongst the team leaders for the Bacon in a number of statistics. Morrison joins the Bacon from Augusta University right here in Georgia. Mike is considered by many to be the heart of the team, and it is easy to see why: the relationships he builds with his teammates.

Meet Macon Bacon infielder Robbie Lane. Lane, who recently joined the baseball team at The Citadel, was a key piece of the Bacon early in the season. Robbie’s guiding light in life is his faith in Christ. Here, you can learn more about Robbie’s baseball journey and his relationship with the Lord.
