Help The Animals
Tractor Supply Co. will be donating 200 pounds of dog and cat food to All About Animals Rescue for every Macon Bacon stolen base this season at Luther Williams Field. If you would like more information on how you can donate to All About Animals Rescue, please fill out the interest form or make your pledge for the season and a Macon Bacon representative will contact you.
Wesleyan Supporting Women
The Macon Bacon have teamed up with Wesleyan College to provide scholarships to young woman in the community. If a Macon Bacon player hits a home run and hits the Wesleyan Target above the sign, one lucky fan will receive a $5000 scholarship to Wesleyan College. For every double a macon bacon player hits at Luther Williams Field the Macon Bacon will be donated $100 for a scholarship at Wesleyan. Wesleyan College will double that amount. Making Our Community Green
International paper has teamed up with the Georgia forestry commission to plant 2 trees in the Flint River Farms Preservation Society for every Macon Bacon broken bat. That’s another 2 trees planted thanks to international paper and the Georgia forestry commission.
Donating To Food Banks
Tyson Foods is teaming up with the middle Georgia food bank to provide times pounds of protein for every run the Macon Bacon score at home, Tyson foods distribution center wis donating 500 pounds of protein to the Middle Georgia Community Foodbank. That’s another 500 pounds times the amount of runs scored Tyson Foods distribution center is donating to the Middle Georgia Community Foodbank.
Home Runs For Macon
This season, YKK is teaming up with RBI Baseball in Macon to donate $100 for every Home Run a Macon bacon player hits at Luther Williams Field. The money raised during the 2024 campaign will be donated to Macon RBI. Giving To Underprivileged Mothers
Every time an opposing batter strikes out at Luther Williams Field, First Quality is donating a case of diapers to Mother’s Nest a program for underprivileged mothers in the Middle Georgia Community. Every time an opposing batter strikes out, crybaby sound plays, and that’s another case of diapers donated to Mother’s Nest courtesy of First Quality.
Finding Families
Every shower or bath remodel that a Macon Bacon Fan purchases Jacuzzi Bath Remodel is donating $500 to Covenant Cares Adoptions an adoption and counseling agency. Enter to win a free shower or Bathtub Remodel! Visit Jacuzzi Bath Remodel on the main concourse in between the Terrapin Beer Trailer and the Pork Shop and follow the instructions. Tub Toss: For every baseball that makes it into the tub in 45 seconds (or another time) $20 dollars will go to Covenant Cares Adoptions.
Donations to Bruce Elementary
SA Recycling is Partnering with the Macon Bacon to recycle aluminum cans for to benefit Bruce Elementary. SA Recycling is running a recycling program with the Macon Bacon and all proceeds from every can recycled is going towards Local Bruce Elementary.
