Saturday, May 25 – Opening Night Fireworks
Is there anything better than Opening Day in baseball? Our first home game of the 2024 season will be an absolute blast with the best fireworks in all of Middle Georgia, presented by Freedom Fireworks. This post-game fireworks show will get your heart thumping!
Saturday, June 1 – Superhero Night
It’s a bird, it’s a plane, it’s Kevin? One of our favorite nights of the year is Superhero Night. This theme night will be filled with all things superheroes. This game will feature a costume contest, superhero themed music, players with capes and so much more. You don’t want to miss this one!
Friday, June 7 – Faith & Family Night
Come out on Faith & Family Night and join the Macon Bacon for some sizzlin’ fellowship with 3300 of your closest friends. This night will feature a post-game devotional and concert from a local Middle Georgia church.
Thursday, June 13 – Bark in the Park
Bring your four-legged best friend out for a game with the Macon Bacon. We will have a costume contest, plenty of treats and all sorts of dog-themed skits. Best part? Your good boy and good girl gets to run the bases after the game!
Saturday, June 15 – Star Wars Night
Luther Williams Field will be transformed into a galaxy, far, far away! One of the most popular theme nights will feature the team wearing a special Star Wars jersey. These jerseys will be auctioned off during the game and the proceeds will go to a local Middle Georgia charity. You’ll see lightsaber battles, a Chewbacca contest and watch the Bacon use the force against the Martinsville Mustangs.
Friday, June 21 – First Responders Night
This game is all about honoring our First Responders! Police, Fire, EMS, Doctors, Nurses and everyone that is on the frontlines protecting and saving lives. Have that special someone in your life that is a First Responder? This is the game to bring them out and honor them! There will be a static display in front of Luther Williams Field with vehicles and apparatus from Middle Georgia’s finest.
Saturday, June 22 – Military Appreciation Night
Middle Georgia is home to one of the largest military depots in the USA in Robins Air Force Base. Every day in Middle Georgia is Armed Forces Appreciation Day. This is the game where we pay tribute to all active and retired military. Out front, you’ll see all types of military vehicles with an awesome static display. Every game we honor our military heroes, but this game is all about the love we share for those that served and have served. We will also be wearing special Military themed jerseys that will be auctioned off during the game for a local charity!
Friday, June 28 – Country Night
Are you ready to transform Luther Williams Field into a night filled with country music, skits and line dancing? The entertainment will be top notch for this game and be sure to bring your best get-up for this yee-haw sizzlin’ time! We will be sure to have a costume contest and a post-game concert featuring a local country artist!
Thursday, July 4 – America’s Celebration Fireworks
Baseball, hot dogs and Fireworks. There’s not much better than celebrating Independence Day than with the Macon Bacon with the BIGGEST 4th of July fireworks show in all of Middle Georgia! We’ll be celebrating America’s birthday in style with all sorts of freedom themed skits and stick around after the game for the big show!
Saturday, July 6 – America’s Celebration Fireworks/Strike Out Cancer Night
Come back after the 4th for another amazing post-game fireworks display, presented by Freedom Fireworks. We’ll be continuing the celebration of America’s birthday with another great freedom ringing game filled with all sorts of entertainment. In addition, this game will be our Strike Out Cancer game. We will be raising money and awareness for cancer related charitable organizations. During the game, we’ll have a stand-up for cancer moment where fans will be able to write names on a card to show support for those that they would like to honor. This game will also feature a heart-warming survivor parade.
Friday, July 12 – 80s Night
Go back to the future in your Delorean and celebrate 80s night with the Macon Bacon. This game is going to be far out and totally tubular! The Macon Bacon will be wearing specialty themed 80s jerseys that will be auctioned off for charity during the game. All sorts of 80s music, themed skits and sing-alongs will be sure to take you back to this amazing decade.
Saturday, July 13 – Christmas in July
Celebrating the halfway point to Christmas, the Macon Bacon will have this Christmas themed night filled with all of the holly-jolly joy you can think of. Santa will be making an appearance while on vacation and an opportunity for the kids to send off letters to the north pole. Christmas lights will fill Luther Williams Field and who knows what Kevin will be up to!
Friday, July 19 – Hawaiian/Margaritaville Night
Hawaiian Night was a big hit in our 2023 season and it’s back for some more hula-sizzlin’ fun with a little extra help. Along with a Hawaiian themed night, we are also going to be celebrating the late, great Jimmy Buffet! This game will feature the best-dressed costume contest, Hawaiian themed jerseys that will be auctioned off and maybe you’ll see a player or two in a grass skirt!
Thursday, July 25 – Chuck Norris Night
Chuck Norris doesn’t use revolving doors, he closes them! Hang out with us for a night filled with Chuck Norris related fun! Karate kick contest, Chuck Norris sayings and there might be a special treat for anyone named Chuck or Norris.
Saturday, July 27 – Fan Appreciation Night/Fireworks
Everything we do is for our fans. And this last game of the season will be sure to blow your socks off! We are going to be thanking our fans by giving them an amazing fireworks display after the game. It’s always special to thank our fans and this night is all about you!
